Earl Wayne Hailey, Jr.



Memorial funeral services for Earl Wayne Hailey, Jr., age 48, of Centerville were held at 2 PM, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Chapel of the Hills Assembly of God Church in Centerville. Bro. Charlie Young officiated at the service.

Earl Hailey, Jr. was born in Houston, Texas on January 18, 1962. He worked as a grain inspector. He was a Christian and he loved playing “42”. Earl was a “natural athlete” and loved sports such as baseball and football. He had a soft spot in his heart for Yorkshire Terriers. He had lived near Centerville for the past 15 years. Earl was preceded in death by his son, Earl Wayne Hailey III, who died in 2000 and by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Earl died at his residence on Thursday evening, April 29, 2010.

Surviving family members include his father and step-mother, Earl Wayne, Sr. and Judy Hailey of League City, Texas; his mother and step-father, Paulette and Charlie Young of Centerville; a daughter, Deziree Hailey of Centerville; four brothers, Darrell Hailey and wife, Tina, of The Woodlands, Chris Hailey of League City, Jimmy Hailey of Huntsville and Bryan Young and wife, Wendy, of Huntsville; two sisters, Hymie Follmar and husband, Chris, of Kerrville and Darla Lackey and husband, Drew, of LaPorte; numerous nieces and nephews and his five little “Yorkie” puppies.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Mr. Hailey ask that donations be made to the Chapel of the Hills Assembly of God Building Fund
