At 7:14 AM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to E. Frontage Rd. in Centerville, in reference to a report of a theft. A report was made for a stolen compressor.

At 1:35 PM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to CR 291 in Buffalo, in reference to an alarm. It was discovered that the residence checked out alright and the neighbor had tripped the alarm while checking on the animals. The call was cleared.

At 2:43 PM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to Rogers St. in Normangee, in reference to a report of an unwanted person. The person was located and advised to stay off the reporting party’s property.

At 5:43 PM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to Lassiter St. in Centerville, in reference to an animal complaint. A report was made of the incident.

At 9:38 PM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was dispatched to CR 305 in Buffalo, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Both parties were separated and a Victim’s Advocate was notified. No charges were filed.

At 8:13 PM, Deputy Chad Hill was dispatched to Hwy 75 N. in Centerville, in reference to a report of shots fired. One was arrested and transported to Leon County Jail, without incident.

07/26/18

At 2:44 AM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was dispatched to N. Main in Jewett, in reference to a report of attempted suicide. EMS arrived and transported the patient to Palestine hospital. A report was made of the incident.

At 6:32 AM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to W. Hwy. 79 in Buffalo, in reference to a report of a burglary at Old Bell Supply business. A report was made of the incident and this case was forwarded to investigations.

At 7:14 AM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to CR 327 in Jewett, in reference to a report of loose livestock. The animals were put back in the pasture and the owner was contacted. The call was then cleared.

At 10:38 AM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to Lassater St. in Centerville, in reference to a report of someone wanting a CTW. Upon arrival, it was discovered that this was a civil issue and that the reporting party would contact their lawyer and discuss their options. The call was then cleared.

At 11:38 AM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to PR 1380 in Centerville, in reference to an animal complaint. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the reporting party’s horse had been attacked by a neighbor’s dogs. A report was made of the incident.

At 6:32 PM, Sgt. Robert Kelly was dispatched to CR 498 in Marquez, in reference to a report of theft and vandalism. A report was made of the incident.

At 8:04 PM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was dispatched to FM 39 S. in Flynn, in reference to a possible overdose. Patient was checked out by EMS and then transported to a hospital in Bryan.

At 8:45 PM, Deputy Chad Hill was dispatched to CR 210 in Centerville, in reference to an alarm. The residence was checked and everything checked out alright. The call was then cleared.

07/27/18

At 12:35 AM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was dispatched to Apple Hill Apartments in Buffalo, in reference to an agency assist with Buffalo PD on a domestic disturbance.

At 7:53 AM, Deputy Cody Wood was dispatched to E. St. Mary’s St. in Centerville, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The driver and the vehicle were checked and cleared of any wrong doing. The call was cleared.

At 9:16 AM, Deputy Bud Trammel and Deputy Cody Wood were dispatched to PR 3155 in Buffalo, in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance. One was arrested and transported to Leon County Jail.

At 11:17 PM, Deputy Stephen Pate conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding at CR 327 in Jewett. One was arrested and transported to Leon County Jail, for Driving While Intoxicated.

07/28/18

At 9:53 AM, Deputy Stephen Dicker was dispatched to Hwy 79 E. in Oakwood, in reference to the report of a theft of parts off a tractor. A report was made of the incident.

At 9:57 AM, Deputy Bud Trammel was dispatched to PR 2090 in Centerville, in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered that this was a civil issue and would need to be taken through the JP’s office.

At 8:18 AM, Deputy Bud Trammel was dispatched to Hwy 79 W. in Buffalo, in reference to a report of a hit and run accident, with no injuries. A report was made of the incident.

At 7:36 PM, Deputy Chris Rosales was dispatched to OSR in Normangee, in reference to the report of an abandoned vehicle left parked under the Navasota River Bridge. A wrecker service was contacted and the owner was notified that the vehicle was towed.

At 8:38 PM, Deputy Stephen Pate was dispatched to CR 312 in Buffalo, in reference to a report of harassment. A report was made of the incident and this case is active.

At 9:38 PM, Deputy Chris Rosales was dispatched to W. St. Mary’s St. in Centerville, in reference to a vehicle hitting a deer and needing a report made. A report was made and the driver was issued a Blue Form for their insurance. The call was then cleared.

07/29/18

At 2:20 AM, Deputy Chris Rosales was dispatched to Humphrey St. in Buffalo, in reference to a domestic assault that occurred on CR 107 in Leona. A report was made of the incident and the case is active.

At 8:14 AM, Deputy Bud Trammel was dispatched to CR 344 in Marquez, in reference to a report of criminal mischief. A report was made of a vehicle running through a fence and then driving off. This case is still open.

At 4:00 PM, Deputy Cody Wood was dispatched to Hwy 75 in Centerville, in reference to a report of a suspicious person. A report was made of the incident.

At 4:22 PM, Deputy Stephen Dicker was dispatched to W. St. Mary’s St. in Centerville, in reference to a request for an officer present while exchanging insurance information.

A report was made of the incident and the call was then cleared.

At 11:47 PM, Deputy Stephen Pate was dispatched to Golden Acres in Buffalo, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. A report was made of the incident. One was arrested and transported to Leon County Jail, without incident.

07/30/18

At 2:21 AM, Deputy Chris Rosales was dispatched to CR 119 in Centerville, in regards to a report of an ATV accident with injuries. EMS was on scene and one was life flighted. A report was made of the incident.

At 9:35 AM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to CR 489 in Normangee, in reference to a report of criminal mischief. A report was made of the incident.

At 10:39 AM, Deputy Tommy Page was dispatched to Hwy 7 W. in Jewett, in reference to a report of forged checks. A report was made of the incident and is pending an arrest of the known suspect.

At 1:10 PM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to CR 211 in Centerville, in reference to loose livestock. The owner was contacted and the animal was returned. The owner was warned that if this happens again, they will receive a citation. The call was then cleared.

At 3:34 PM, Deputy Tommy Page and Deputy Kristin Shaw were dispatched to CR 373 in Marquez, in reference to a livestock complaint. A report was made of the incident.

At 3:53 PM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to LCSO Lobby to meet with a reporting party wanting to make an animal complaint that occurred on CR 362 in Jewett. A report was made of the incident.

07/31/18

At 12:05 AM, Deputy Jonathan Stubblefield was dispatched to Fairway Dr. in Hilltop Lakes, in regards to a report of suspicious activity. The area was checked by Deputy Stubblefield, and nothing was found out of the ordinary.

At 10:00 AM, Deputy Lance Ucci was dispatched to CR 432 in Marquez, to the Marquez Dumpsite for a call on illegal dumping. The suspect was located with help of local residence who witnessed the act and had proof. A citation was issued to the suspect. The call was then cleared.

At 11:10 AM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to SB I45 in Centerville, in reference to a welfare concern on a driver of a vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle had already pulled to the roadside rest stop. It was discovered that the driver was extremely fatigued and was advised to rest there. The call was then cleared.

At 2:17 PM, Deputy Tommy Page, Deputy Jerry Nichols, and Normangee Police Chief J.D. Cornelius were dispatched to Heath St. in Normangee, in reference to a domestic disturbance. One was arrested and transported to Leon County Jail.

At 4:14 PM, Deputy Dee Craft was dispatched to 977 W. in Leona, in reference to a burglary in progress. A report was made of the incident, this case is still open.

At 5:16 PM, Deputy Jerry Nichols was dispatched to CR 449 in Marquez, in reference to a dropped 911 call. Deputy Nichols spoke with the subject and they explained that they dropped their phone and accidentally dialed 911. The call was then cleared.

At 6:06 PM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was contacted via phone in regards to someone having their credit cards compromised at a gas pump in Marquez. A report was made of the incident and the owner of the store were notified.

At 6:50 PM, Deputy Kristin Shaw was dispatched to FM 831 in Buffalo, in reference to a report of a suspicious person. A report was made of the person and a close patrol of the area was requested.

At 11:01 PM, Deputy Jonathan Stubblefield was dispatched to E. Tonkawa St. in Hilltop Lakes, in reference to suspicious activity. Upon arrival, the area was checked and nothing was located out of the ordinary. The call was then cleared.
