Teague has a 10-0 mark with games against Malakoff and Buffalo remaining on their schedule. The Lady Bison hosted Westwood on January 23rd and came through with a 41-26 win in a low scoring game. The Lady Bison had an 11-8 lead after the first quarter as Mollie Dittmar scored 7 points. The Lady Bison increased their lead to 27-16 as the second quarter ended as Samantha Pate contributed 8 points. A'sia Bradley and Melanie McGill scored 3 points each in the third quarter and the Lady Bison forged to a 35-20 lead. Both teams were cold in the fourth quarter as each scored 6 points and the Bison had an easy 41-26 win. Dittmar scored 4 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Lady Bison. Stats for the Lady Bison: Dittmar scored 13 points and had 8 rebounds, Pate scored 12 points and had 2 rebounds, Bradley scored 9 points and had 8 rebounds, McGill scored 3 points and had 7 rebounds, Taylor Beshears scored 2 points and had 8 rebounds, Kaleigh Rhodes scored 2 points and had 3 rebounds, Samantha Simpson had 2 rebounds, Yomell Almeida had 1 rebound.

Sherry’s Shots The Lady Bison were scheduled to play the Elkhart Lady Elks on January 26th but the Lady Elks do not have enough players to field a varsity team and the Lady Bison won by a forfeit.

The Lady Bison host Frankston on January 30th and travel to Teague for a game on February 2nd. Malakoff plays Frankston and Teague in their final 2 games. Teague defeated the Lady Bison 61-59 on January 9th but if the Lady Bison defeat Frankston and Teague the Lady Bison would win 2nd place outright if Malakoff loses to Teague.
