Leon County Farm and Ranch Seminar set for February 6

The Leon County Farm and Ranch Seminar will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Cowboy Church of Leon County, located at 1419 Highway 7 in Centerville. This will be an opportunity for TDA Commercial, Non-Commercial, and Private Applicators to receive 5 CEU’s towards their chemical applicators license. Educational topics will include Chemical Brush and Weed Treatment Basics, IPM of Forage Insects, Fence Line Brush Management, Control of Flies and Other Parasites on Cattle, and Pesticide Laws and Regulations. On the morning of the program, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. The day’s event will conclude by 3:00 p.m. This event is being organized by the Leon County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

Registration for this event is $30.00 per person with lunch included. Registration can be made by calling the Leon County Extension Office at (903) 536-2531 or coming by the Leon County Extension Office, located on the third floor of Leon County Annex I, 113 West Main, Centerville. In order to accommodate lunch, RSVP is requested by February 2, 2018.
