Gobble, gobble, wobble, wobble

By Sherry Matney

These absolutely precious preschoolers entertained family members and other attendees during the Thanksgiving feast at FBC Buffalo. Sherry’s Shots These absolutely precious preschoolers entertained family members and other attendees during the Thanksgiving feast at FBC Buffalo. Sherry’s Shots Some of the cutest turkeys you have ever seen were on display at First Baptist Church Buffalo on Wednesday, November 15, when the Preschool students thrilled parents and grandparents with their rendition of just how a turkey behaves at Thanksgiving.

For many years FBC has held a Community Thanksgiving feast and has invited everyone to attend. This year some- where close to 300 people ate and enjoyed the evening. Part of the program has traditionally been the pre-schoolers dressed as turkeys as the farmer, played by Pastor Alan Grisham, skulks around with a rubber hatchet. This year Carol Webb, Cheryl Loftin and Sherry Matney led the crowd in the song, "I'm Proud to be an American." As always, the food was plentiful and delicious.
