On October 24, 2017 Buffalo High School held a National Honor Society Induction welcoming 36 students to the prestigious organization. NHS secretary Lilah Molina opened the meeting with an invocation, followed by vice president James Rodell leading pledges to the American and Texas flags. Bettie Jane Mitchell Hanson Dixon was born in Zwolle, Louisiana on February 10, 1925. She went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2017. She spent several years of her childhood in Louisiana, but eventually moved with her family to Houston, Texas. SAN ANGELO – The general hunting season for white-tailed deer opens Nov. 4, and Texas hunters should expect good opportunities in the field, according to a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service specialist.
