The Buffalo Extension and Education Club met on Wednesday, October 18 at the Stewart Methodist Church in Buffalo. Eight members were present. Funeral services for Danny Largent, 68, of Centerville, were held at 1 P.M., Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Rev. Dean Easterling, pastor of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, officiated the service. Interment was in the New Salem Cemetery southeast of Centerville in the Centerview Community. More...

Fall is in the air and winter is on its way. Very soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with family and friends as well as ringing in the New Year 2018. Time just seems to fly by. For the first time, at least in recent history, Buffalo High School crowned a Homecoming King and Queen as well as presented a Royal Court. In the past only a Homecoming Queen has been crowned.  This year's nominees for king were: Benito Rivas, Ryan Rath, James Rodell, Blyne Stauffer and David Alcantar. Conditions cause concern for High Plains corn producers
COLLEGE STATION – Corn producers in the High Plains wait out wet weather and potentially problematic conditions as global commodity market conditions worsen for U.S. producers, according to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service experts.
