Veteran healthcare executive named to lead Parkview Regional

Robert “Bob” Honeycutt Robert “Bob” Honeycutt (Ennis, Texas – September 18, 2017) – Ennis Regional Medical Center (ERMC) and Parkview Regional Hospital (PRH) announced today that Robert “Bob” Honeycutt, CHE, has been named the new chief executive officer (CEO) of the two facilities, both of which are part of LifePoint Health. His first day with the facilities is October 2.

“Bob is a great leader with a strong track record of strengthening multi-facility systems,” said Brad Owens, chief operating officer (COO) of Life- Point’s Western Group of hospitals. “We are excited to welcome him to Ennis and Parkview and know that he will drive these hospitals forward in a way that helps advance our mission of Making Communities Healthier.”

Honeycutt joins Ennis and Parkview from Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, where he served as president and CEO of the Arizona Market for the past three years. While there, Honeycutt drove growth across all service lines; recruited more than 200 physicians, including physicians and specialty consultants, to hospital and freestanding emergency room locations; and led the health system to pass 10 Arizona Department of Health licensing surveys and five Joint Commission surveys across all locations. Under his leadership, the system also saw positive growth in patient experience and HCAHPS scores each quarter.

“Bob is exactly the type of dynamic leader we were looking for,” said Mike Montgomery, chair of ERMC’s Board of Directors. “He has the experience, expertise and love of community that we need to keep quality care right here close to home.”

Honeycutt has an MHA and an MBA, both from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco. He is a certified healthcare executive (CHE) by the American College of Healthcare Executives.
