County Commissioner Dean Stanford requested approval from the Court to request bids for bleacher seating at the Yellow Rose Arena at the Expo Center. Coastal cotton industry hit hard by Hurricane Harvey
CORPUS CHRISTI – Hurricane Harvey and its after-effects have the coastal cotton industry reeling, according to Texas A&M AgriLife experts.  Dr. John Robinson, College Station, said harvest activities were 40 percent complete leading up to the arrival of Hurricane Harvey and estimated 300,000 to 400,000 bales of cotton were still on the stalk prior to the storm.  More...
