AgriLife Extension helping with sheltering small, large animals displaced by Harvey
     COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is supporting community animal issues committees and local emergency management coordinators to set up animal sheltering sites around the state in anticipation of Hurricane Harvey.

Saxton Randle-Sims completes Masters Degree in International Business
     2011 Buffalo graduate Saxton Randle-Sims who graduated from Baylor in 2015 completed his goal of receiving his Masters Degree in International Business on August 24. Randle-Sims graduated with honors from HULT in Cambridge Massachusetts.

Ft. Boggy State Park update
     Only a few short years ago Ft. Boggy Park Ranger Wesley Hamilton was begging for money from local government entities to keep Ft. Boggy State Park’s gates open. Then House Representative Trent Ashby became involved and was able to appropriate a significant amount of State funds toward improving and sustaining the Leon County park.

     September 1st marks the beginning of a new 4-H year, and Leon County 4-H clubs are busy preparing for their first meetings. Now is a great time to join the fun and learning 4-H has to offer.
