Buffalo Police Report for July

Buffalo Police Chief Lance Pavelka included a warning about the number of accidents happening at the blinking yellow turn lights. Chief Pavelka said, “Remember yellow means yield the right of way. It is not a green arrow.”

Chief Pavelka also warned that the IRS telephone scam people are now sending e-mail. Chief Pavelka advised, “Do not answer them and do not send money.”

The police report submitted to the city council showed 80 calls for service. There were 5 cases of theft reported, by counterfeit checks. One DWI, one assualt, one indecency with a child. The city police issued 180 citations during July.
