Ricky Lynn Amos

Ricky Lynn Amos was born on November 19, 1972 to the parents of James and Linda Amos.

He attended Buffalo Elementary/Middle school and graduated from Buffalo High School in 1991.

Ricky professed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of First St Holland Baptist Church. Ricky was an usher and a member of the junior choir.

He had a love for horses and race cars. He worked numerous jobs. He was currently employed at the saw mill in Centerville Texas.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memories a devoted mother and father, James and Linda Amos, three children; Jonathan Amos (Buffalo TX), Shekinah Amos (Buffalo TX) and Gabriel Amos (Waco), three grandchildren; Chance George Amos, Aubriella Amos, Zayne Amos, proceeded in death by his eldest brother, Lenard Derrick Amos, surviving siblings; brother Reginald Amos (Dallas TX), sister Cherie Phillips (Tommie), Worcester MA, and lifelong companion, Tonia Navarro and step children.

He was blessed to have three loving aunts Gayle Williams, Kathleen Morrison and Patsy Randle and a host of uncles, nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday July 29, 2017 10 am - 11 am at C. L. Bolden Family Life Center, Buffalo, Texas.

Services were held Saturday July 29, 2017 @ 11 am C. L. Bolden Family Life Center, Buffalo, Texas Pastor, Officiating Minister & Eulogist, Pastor Joseph Brown

Interment following the service was at Sand Hill Cemetery, Buffalo, TX.
