Friends of Fort Boggy 2nd Quarterly Meeting will be held on April 24, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church. Everyone is encouraged to attend and learn about the exciting things that are happening at Fort Boggy State Park. For more information contact Betty Heffler at (903) 322-3478.

Lone Star Community Center will hold a community wide garage sale on April 28 and 29. (Friday and Saturday) from 8:00 a.m. both days. Booths will be $20.00 for the two days and there will be a concession. Contact Sherry Matney at 903-322 9420.

The Buffalo Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Buffalo Civic Center, 942 Hill Street (I -45 Access Road North). Registration will begin at 11 am and a catered meal will be served at noon. Please make reservation by May 1 either by mail, email at dryder@windstream.net or by calling Dianne Ryder at 903-388-1485.

The cost this year will be $12.00 per meal. Craig Graham of Buffalo will be our speaker. Craig is a 1954 Buffalo High School graduate.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step program where we can gain freedom, acceptance and accountability for life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. We meet every Monday in the Fellowship Hall at Miracle Christian Center at 5:30 for a meal, followed by Large Group and then Open Share Groups. For additional information, call 903-322-2300.

The Buffalo Lions Club meets at noon the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at Dickey’s Barbecue. Everyone is invited to attend.

Leon County Crime Stoppers meets the first

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be meeting at the Centerville Community Center across from the Centerville Post Office on Hwy 7 at 7:00 pm on the fourth Thursday of every month. If you are interested in learning how to help your family, friends and neighbors in the event of a disaster please join us. Training is free.
