Leon County Judge Byron Ryder was back on the job for the April 10 Commissioners Court and moved the County business along with lightening speed. The Regular meeting began with a whole posse of Highway Patrolmen, led by Sergeant Eric Gray, who came to Court to thank the County for providing a means of constructing a new weigh station on I-45, and to present a plaque of appreciation.  More...

After losing their previous 2 games the Bison pinned a 11-2 loss on Malkoff and defeated Leon 2-1 in eight innings to up their record to 5-3 in District play. The Bison traveled to Malakoff for a game on April 4th and slugged out a 11-2 win over the Tigers.
