The Leon County Commissioners Court agreed to advertise for a Veteran Service Officer following the resignation of John Kirk. Before he leaves his office Kirk requested a donation from Leon County for the baby shower at Ft. Hood. The showers are given for service members and their spouses. The Lady Bison traveled to Teague on March 28th to meet the Lady Lions and dropped a 4-14 game. The Lady Lions scored 1 in the first, 4 in the second and 8 in the third to lead 13-0 after 4 innings. The Lady Bison came back in the top of the fourth by scoring 3 runs on walks to Melanie McGill, Shalyn Cotton, Taylor Lack, and Taylor Farris and a single by Jayci Hightower that drove in 2 runs.
