A Teague ISD school bus bound for a Centerville track meet overturned as it exited IH-45 when it left the pavement and plunged into a very wet but shallow bar ditch. An unusual structure is forming the roof for the front porch of the soon to be new home of Country Cousins BBQ in Centerville. The structure is the top of the old Centerville water tower. Funeral services for Mrs. Ira Dell Bell, age 97, of Centerville and formerly of the Flo Community of Leon County, were held at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Rev. Phil Smith, grandson, officiated and burial was in the Parker Cemetery. A visitation was held on Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home. More...

The Lady Bison are 2-2 this year and are awaiting the arrival of some girls from the basketball team to join them.
