Funeral services have been set for James Welton Jones, age 82, of Pasadena and formerly of Centerville, were held at 11 am, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Walters Funeral Home Chapel in Centerville. Letter to the Editor, My family moved to Buffalo in the winter of 1932-The old Looring Bill Place West of Buffalo Creek on what is now Highway 79. The Lady Bison hosted the Westwood Lady Panthers in a district contest on December 20th and after a slow start the Lady Bison prevailed 63-35. The Lady Bison fell behind 0-6 in the first 6 minutes of the game before the shots began to fall and the Lady Bison led 11-9 after the first quarter.
