Funeral services for Louise Bottoms, age 88, were held on Sunday, August 28, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Rev. Ray Payne officiated. Interment followed the services at Sardis Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. More...

Buffalo High School held its annual Meet the Bison on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at the Buffalo High School Gymnasium. The parking lot was full as were the seats on the Home side of the gym.
