Wallace Elmer “Walley Boo” Justus, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in Buffalo.  Mr. Justus was born in Teague on October 6, 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years before working as an electrician for Brown & Root. He moved to Jewett after his retirement and was often seen visiting with people around town.  More...

Coach Daryl Skelton welcomed his volleyball players to the first day of practice on August 1st. Coach Skelton and Kyle Gleghorn will coach the varsity and Gleghorn will coach the junior varsity. Avie McNight will coach the 7th grade and Nicole Smith the 8th grade. The varsity has 4 returning letterman and some freshman girls could make the varsity team.  More...
