After a rather lengthy discussion the Buffalo City Council voted to approved transferring a portion of Rodell Water Line at Highway 79. Steve Torno was present with explanations about what the transfer would entail. On Saturday, June 25th, Leon County held its Mr. & Miss Leon County Beauty pageant with children, ages birth to 17 years competing for various titles. The pageant was held at the Centerville High School Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. The highest award went to Caroline Wakefield in the Miss Division (girls 13-17) who scored “Overall High Point Queen”.
