Driver faints during search
DPS Troopers located 11,000 ecstasy pills in a vehicle traveling north on IH-45 bound for Oklahoma City. Troopers became suspicious of a older black male driver stopped for speeding around 2:00 pm on Friday May 20th, 2016. Consent to search the vehicle was requested from the driver/owner and granted. However, the driver then became distressed and fainted. EMS was summoned for the driver.  More...

As expected the district champs Bison claimed many of the honors. Logan Freeman and Bryce Pauler were the Co- MVP. Freeman and Pauler were the 1-2 pitching punch and handled most of the pitching chores. Freeman had an ERA of 0.00 and Pauler had an ERA of 0.69 which is incredible for a 14 game district season. Buffalo ISD presented its Spring Band Concert for 2016 on May 19 at the Buffalo High School Auditorium. The Junior High Beginning Band, Junior High Concert Band and the Buffalo High School Band were each featured.
