Funeral services for Arthur F. Koym, 71, of the Ninevah Community in Leon County, were held at 10 A.M., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Rev. Jack Smith, pastor of the Calvary Christian Center in Oakwood, officiated and interment was in the North Creek Cemetery in rural eastern Leon County.  More...

The Buffalo Bison are in sole possession of 1st place as they defeated Onalaska 10-1 and Leon 8-0 and thanks to New Waverly defeating Elkhart 3-2 the Bison are the only undefeated team in the district with 4 games remaining in the regular season.
