Funeral services for John Richard Hubbard, age 62, of Jewett was held for 10 A.M., Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo. The burial was in the Woods Cemetery near Carthage, Texas.  Bro. Ray Payne, pastor of the Ephesus Baptist Church near Jewett officiated. A visitation was scheduled for 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.  More...

The Bison had a special treat on March 11th as they played the Elysian Fields Yellow Jackets at Minute Maid Park in Houston, the home of the Houston Astros. The game was possible because the team and fans sold over 500 tickets to an Astro game. The game took place at 4:30 pm on March 11th and the game was 2 1/2 hours in length with the completion at 7:00 pm.  More...
