On May 12, 2015, the Leon Sheriff’s Office served a Narcotics Search warrant at 432 Rogers Street in Normangee. Deputies seized twenty firearms and over five ounces of Methamphetamine. Steve Batson was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled substance, a 1st degree felony. Batson is held at the Leon County Jail.  More...

The Centerville Tigers won 2 warm up games and defeated Joaquin 12-1 to advance to the Regional Quarterfinals against Beckville. The Tigers played a strong Anderson-Shiro team in a warm up game on May 4th and won 8-5 as Hayden Nash collected 3 hits, Jordan Cannon 2 hits and Kyle Harris had 2 RBI's. The Tigers scored 3 in the 2nd and 5 in the 7th in the 8-5 win.  More...
