Emma Jane Bain was born on November 11, 1925 in Bellefonte, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John Bug Ruble and Gertrude Frances Hubbard. Mr. Ruble worked for the Rock Island Railroad in Arkansas which resulted in several moves up and down the Railroad line. Jane graduated from Brinkley High School at the top of her class.  More...

The Buffalo Bison needed to sweep their final 3 games to have a chance for the 4th and final position in the playoffs but they traveled to Trinity on February 10th and suffered a 54-73 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. The Bison started fast and held a 19-15 lead after the 1st quarter thanks to hot shooting by OT Garcia who tallied 6 points. The Bison still led 30-28 at half time.  More...
