Betty Jane (Hammock) Maxstadt was born March 5, 1948 in Crockett, Texas. Her parents were Vernon and Frances (Manning) Hammock. Betty has resided in Leon County since 2003, having moved from New York. She was a cashier for the Woody’s #1 in Centerville. Betty passed away at her home near Buffalo on November 26, 2014.  More...

Several Buffalo Bison athletes were selected to the All-District team announced last week. Selected to the 1st Team Offense were: Joey Maltos Offensive Linemen and Logan Freeman Quarterback.
