Ninety-four years ago, on August 26, 1920, a beautiful blue-eyed blonde daughter was born to P.G. and Betty Blount, of Fairfield, Texas. They named her Cloteal Elizabeth. She grew up on a farm in Fairfield and attended Fairfield schools graduating from Fairfield High School in 1938. She was blessed to have three siblings, Neal, Wayne and Fannie Ruth. More...
The Leon EEA (Leon Extension Education Association) monthly meeting was held at 10:00 AM in Centerville at the Annex 1 Building 3rd floor on October 28, 2014. There were 22 members present. The meeting opened with prayer and pledges to the American and Texas Flags followed by the TEEA Prayer. Representing Leon County for the State of Texas are 77 members.  More...
Less than two weeks until Thanksgiving Day and before the “real” day we have a huge Thanksgiving Dinner at our church and another at the nursing home where my brother, Scooter, lives.
