Verner L. Shaw passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas from congestive heart failure on July 29, 2014 at the age of 95. The last remaining child of Irwin Lee and Amanda Garland Shaw, In addition to his wife Thelma Patterson Shaw he was preceded in death by his sister Opal Shaw Kuehn Nordloh, brothers Earl, James Ray, and John Shaw.
