Earl Lee Franklin was born on March 4, 1928 in Tarkington, Texas. As a teenager, he moved to Houston then, in 1962, moved to Conroe. Earl served his country in the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Army. In 1974, he began a business in Humble which he named Franklin Machine Works. Later, in1985, he bought out Texas Gear and changed the name of his business to Franklin Machine and Gear Corp.  More...

The Buffalo Bison 14 and under boys won the District Championship and will advance to the Regionals to be held at Mildred beginning July 7th. The Bison played Oakwood in their first game on June 24th and Oakwood scored a run in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. With 1 out in the top of the 2nd the game was halted due to rain.  More...
