Champion gilt exhibited by Zoie Steven
The Leon County Livestock Show continued on Friday with a good crowd on hand for the Breeding Swine Show. There were 70 swine exhibitors exhibitors this year so the competition was intense. Judge Ricky Thompson gave them all plenty of attention, and when the show ring dust settled, the champion gilt was exhibited by Zoie Stevens with her buckle donated by Patricia Jones of Patty's Petals. The Buffalo High School theatre department, under the able direction of Jill Henson and assistant director Melonie Menefee, competed at district last week in Teague. Their production of a comedy entitled The Servant of Two Masters” was one of two plays that will be advancing to the Area competition on April 8th at University High in Waco.  More...

The Bison baseball team, under the direction of Head Coach Bry- an Pauler and Assistant Coach Chris Smith, really appear to be gelling.
