Lady Bison capture 2nd in District, win first playoff game for Bi-District title
     The Lady Bison finished regular season play at Riesel on Tuesday night with a solid win, earning their playoff berth as the uncontested 2nd place team in District 24AA.

Buffalo’s JV Lady Bison finish strong
     The Junior Varsity Lady Bison travelled to Riesel to finish their season, and wrapped things up with another convincing win over the Lady Indians. Senior Angeles Valles-Villa finished her season with a big game, knocking down a threepointer in the first quarter and finishing with 9 points. Jacie Jones scored in every quarter to lead the Lady Bison with 10 points.

Bison men defeat Riesel, fall to Teague
     The Bison wrapped up their regular season schedule on the road last week at Riesel and Teague. They were playing short-handed, with Cain Hayes, Cameron Hughes, Travis Cunningham and Kyrell Miller all out with injuries.

Centerville Tigers battle Hearne Eagles for a playoff spot
     The Centerville Tigers defeated the Onalaska Wildcats 63-49 on February 5th but traveled to Hearne on February 8th and were handed a 67-58 setback. This set up a crucial final district game against the Trinity Tigers on February 12th. Centerville and Hearne are tied for 3rd place in the district with Hearne playing Hempstead and the Tigers hosting Trinity.

Lady Tigers wrap up undefeated district season
     The Centerville Lady Tigers won their 29th consecutive district game and their 29th win in a row at home as they smashed the Onalaska Lady Cats 81-22 on February 5th to complete their district play with a 14-0 mark. The Tigers won district last year and have not lost a district contest in over 2 years.
