In early East Texas, the death of a family member or friend was a serious event surrounded by traditional rituals, a lengthy period of mourning and widespread respect for the deceased. The Flo News
     The Evan Moore Legacy  Evan Moore was born to Jack and Eva Shaw Moore, who were the children of pioneer settlers in this area before Flo was established. The family along with other early settlers helped to develop this wilderness, later to be known as Flo, into farms and ranches that still carry the family names.
