The City of Jewett was surprised when they received a letter from an organization named Freedom from Religion, in Missouri, demanding that the nativity scene on display in the City Park be removed. The Jewett City Council immediately convened and voted to keep the nativity scene as is and many Jewett citizens are singing the praises of the councilmen.   More...

Funeral services for Dorcas Kratz, age 91, of Buffalo, were held at 11 A.M., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo. Rev. Darren King and Rev. Gerald Reeves officiated and interment followed in the Lummus Cemetery south of Buffalo.  More...
