At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17th, a local Teague police officer responded to a message that a juvenile teen (who cannot be identified due to the laws concerning Juveniles) was in possession of a firearm and possibly intended to harm himself. The Vietnam Veterans of America & Associates Chapter #991 of Palestine will host a fundraiser towards the “VA Van Fund” at our new Denny’s Restaurant in Palestine on Oct. 26, 27, & 28, 2012. This Van transports our local Veterans to medical appointments in Temple and Waco Mon. - Fri. at no charge. The drivers are all Volunteers.  More...
