Anissa Evette Watkins, age 42, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed from this life on June 21, 2012 at the Methodist Charlton Hospital in Cedar Hill. She was born June 8, 1970 in Memphis, Tennessee and lived most of her life in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. She was Baptist and worked as an Admissions Coordinator at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Dallas.  More...
For many churches, their summertime ministry to the children in their congregation and their community is Vacation Bible School. Basketball fans can get their summer roundball fix this coming weekend at the annual Buffalo Summer Outlaw Tournament. The tournament was started in ‘93 by Larry Tatum and then-BHS basketball coach Hugh Piatt, and it has become a summer tradition for hoopsters from across the state who put together teams and come to Buffalo for some serious competition and fun.   More...
