A Normangee man with a long history of arrests and convictions was discovered hanged in his Leon County jail cell at 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21. Bison Field looked good, the fence sported a fresh coat of green paint and the 2012 Buffalo Bison baseball team started off the season with a 12-5 win over Onalaska. COLLEGE STATION – Most of the state received rain the third week of February, further greening up pastures and winter wheat, according to reports from Texas AgriLife Extension Service personnel.
