Bison Booster Club makes generous donation

The Bison Booster Club made a generous donation of $6000 to the girls' athletic program in a presentation on Friday night. Club President Gene Pruitt, Jr. explained that they had requested that BHS' coaches submit a wants/needs list and there were several things that the girls' program needed, including bats and an ice therapy tub. The Booster Club made a donation to the boy’s program earlier this year, so the club officers voted to earmark this donation to the girls' program, to be used as needed.

Pruitt noted that there is a powerlifting meeting in February and a track meet in March which will be good opportunities for the Booster Club to make more money.
