Willie Dwitt Perry, Jr.
Willie Dwitt Perry, Jr. was born on September 24, 1954 in Livingston, Texas to Willie Dwitt, Sr. and Audrey Lee (Clifton) Perry and lived mainly in the Livingston and Nacogdoches areas while growing up. Mr. Perry worked in various fields during his life, including ARCO Chemical; Big Brown Coal Mine in Fairfield; Ranch Foreman at Diamond P Ranch in Centerville and also, as a boiler maker for Georgia Pacific making plywood. Mr. Perry was a mild mannered man and loved playing music at the Cowboy Church, where he was a member. He also wrote music and rearranged music so that it was suitable to play in church. Mr. Perry was also an avid gun collector. He had lived in Centerville since 2003, coming from Shepherd, Texas. Mr. Perry passed away January 29, 2012 at his home. He is preceded in death by both of his parents. Surviving family includes wife, Elizabeth Perry of Centerville; sisters, Wanda Lloyd of Sulpulpa, Okla- homa, Margie Colburn of Cleveland, Texas and Kathy Holston of South Bend, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, the family of Mr. Perry requests that donations be made in honor of him at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
