Jim Grable officiated and interment was in the North Creek Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home in Centerville was in charge of all arrangements.

Services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Pastor Eston (Buddy) Turner officiating. Interment followed at Stewards Mill Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at Capps Memorial Chapel.
