Kaede Thomas shines in rodeo playday series

Brandelyn Kaede Thomas won the Championship Saddle, Buckle, and Trophy in the 8 and under age group in a playday series at Lost Horizon Ranch. The Awards Banquet was held January 13, 2012 at the Brazos Center in Bryan Texas. The series consisted of ten playdays beginning in February 2011 and ending in November 2011. There were 8 events in the playdays and a total of 37 participants in the 8 and under group. Kaede rode two horses in the events. One horse was a sorrel gelding, 20+ years old, named Biggun that belongs to Tanner Baker. The other horse was a bay gelding named Big Creek Sky, 20+ years old, owned by Kaede herself. She received a saddle blanket for perfect attendance and two plaques for her horses and their performance.

Kaede is the daughter of Bonnie Thomas of Centerville and John Thomas of Buffalo. She is the granddaughter of Eddie and Patricia Hammock of Centerville, Jerry and Debbie Grimes of Flynn, Sherry and Steve Hunt of Groesbeck,0DOWN and Rick Thomas of Buffalo and the great granddaughter of Lillian Pierce of Centerville. Kaede is in the 3rd Grade at Centerville Elementary.
