Downtown Centerville looked very much like a Currier and Ives Christmas Card, without the snow, on Friday night. Businesses decked their buildings with icicle lights and the County Court House had on its annual Christmas attire. Carolers walked the sidewalks singing traditional Christmas carols and generous members of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church provided cups of piping hot chocolate.  More...

Funeral services for Robert W. Featherston, age 88, of Burkburnett and formerly Centerville, were held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Wayne Bell, of Walters Funeral Home, officiated and interment was in the Centerville Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home in Centerville was in charge of all arrangements.  More...
