Contributed photo Buffalo’s Chad Nelson (BHS Class of 2009) recently put his gregarious nature and athleticism to work for a good cause. The never-shy Nelson recently completed his sophomore year at Lon Morris College, where he was president of the Rotaract Club. Last weekend Nelson teamed up with fellow Rotarian Greg Stirneman to form the Rotarian Riders Team to participate in the 2011 Tour De Cure, a 32-mile bike ride through San Antonio and San Marcos which benefitted the American Diabetes Association. Nelson and Stirneman raised $1,950 in the fundraiser, proudly contributing to over $600,000 raised in the Tour De Cure cycling event.
