Rodell chosen KBTX “Classroom Champion”

Portions of the segment were filmed in the Buffalo High School classroom of computer teacher Trey Thomason (pictured, center). Van’Go’photo BHS senior Jacob Rodell has been named as one of KBTX’s News 3 Sports Classroom Champions. A KBTX crew member was on campus Monday to film Jacob and interview him.

Jacob is the son of John and Ruth Rodell. He is the National Honor Society president, FFA president, Leon County 4H vice president, and has been a member of the Student Council throughout high school, and earned honorable mention recognition in One Act Play. . Jacob is a multi-sport athlete for the Bison, participating in football, track, power lifting and baseball. He earned 2nd Team All District lineman last year and is the captain of the varsity football team this year.

The segment is scheduled to air on Channel 3 during the 6 p.m. news on Thursday, November 4, and will be available on their website after November 4.
