Photos by Melissa Missildine Oakwood's annual 4-H Omelet Supper was once again a raving success! This year, Oakwood 4-H President Becky Cockerell said she had more help than she needed with a total of 52 children entering the program this year. That is double the number she had last year. There were so many little chefs this year, that they had to work in shifts to make room for them all. The number of helpers was not the only thing that was bigger this year: the crowd was huge! There were two lines that extended from the back of the lunch room all the way to the front doors. Do not doubt that everyone ate their fill of omelets, salad, tea, and more desserts than you could shake a stick at. The community sure knows how to come out and support the youth of Oakwood!
