C’ville Tigers fall to Trinity

The Centerville Tigers travelled to Trinity on Friday to square off against another group of Tigers.

CHS started strong, leading 13-0 after one quarter. Trinity came back with a big 20-point second quarter and outscored CHS two touchdowns to one in the fourth to take a 33-19 win.

Seth Mahaffey was the leading rusher for CHS (13 carries for 57 yards), along with Jonathan Cloud (10 carries for 51 yards). T.J. Robinson carried for 35, Jamal High for 14, Ryan Payne for 8 and Garrett Chase for 7. QB Chase completed 4 of 13 passes with no interceptions. His receivers were Peterson (17 yards for a TD), Cort Harris (5 yards), Cloud (8 yards), and Mahaffey (7 yards).

This week the Tigers host Scurry-Rosser in the CHS Homecoming game on Friday, with kickoff set for 7:30.
