BHS Homecoming 2010

Buffalo High School students and alumni celebrated BHS’ 2010 Homecoming on Friday, September 17. The new BHS gym was almost full at the big pep rally on Friday afternoon. The stands at Brewer Field were packed as families toasted the members of the Class of 2011 in the annual Senior Walk. Alumni enjoyed the opportunity to show off their new spouses or children. The Homecoming Court was presented at halftime and Alex Jenkins was crowned as this year’s Queen. Finally, football fans had plenty to cheer about in a close game with the Mildred Eagles, but injuries to key players early in the contest put a damper on the action and the Bison were not able to deliver the hoped-for win. “Ya got spirit? Well, let’s hear it!” The seniors -- led by their enthusiastic Class President Garrett Henson (yellow bandana) -- definitely set a high bar for the underclassmen to strive for in Friday’s big Homecomeing Pep Rally.
