Talk about every little girl’s dream! Imagine, getting invited to go to a cheerleading camp at the new Cowboy’s Stadium...where the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders train! This dream became a reality for the Oakwood High School 2010-2011 cheerleaders.
Cheerleading sponsor Kimberly Scoggin and her daughter Chelsea took Ashlin Smith, Holly Davis, Shametris (MeMe) Owens, Grace Rantala, and Head Cheerleader Whitney Hicks on what Scoggin referred to as “a once in a lifetime opportunity that we just could not miss.” Although they did not get to meet any of the players or Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (They were out of town for a game.), the girls were given a tour of the both the team and cheerleader locker rooms, the interview room, and several other areas not ordinarily open to the
public.
The cheer camp was put
Tackled HIGH PRICES on by NCA Cheerleading and Dance. There were teams from many different schools and even private cheer teams from across the state. The teams were taught cheers on the field and the dance teams practiced inside the building.
