The BHS Freshman hosted Franklin youngsters in the second contest on Thursday. Quarterback Logan Jones set the tone early, taking the opening kickoff 85 yards for a Bison touchdown. Brendan Smith carried on the 2-point conversion to put BHS up 8-0. Buffalo fumbled away their next possession. Back on defense, Smith stripped the ball to kill a Franklin drive. Rolling again on offense, Smith was almost in the clutches of the Lion defenders and tossed the pigskin to Jones at the last second and the play went all the way for the Bison's second TD. The PAT was stopped, but Buffalo led 14-0

The Bison were driving again late in the first half. "LoJo" hit Bobby Dorman for a 40-yard pass reception, and Cameron Hughes caught another and fought to the 1-yard-line as the clock ticked off the final seconds.

Trent Martin picked up a 32- yard gain, setting up the Bison's third TD on the QB keeper from the 10. Smith carried on the PAT and BHS led 22-0.

In the fourth quarter, Hughes caused a fumble which was recovered by the Bison. Kyle Read quarterbacked the next drive, with Smith, Adam Simpson and Dorman carrying the load on the ground. A power failure took out the stadium lights in the 4th, causing the officials to call the game.

Reid Courmier, Tyler Adams, Pablo Ramirez, Caesar Lopez, Martin, Smith and Jones were standouts for the Bison defense.
