HILLTOP LAKES WGA

The WGA 18-hole ladies game of the day on August 26th was "LOW GROSS". 14 ladies participated.

Results for the 18-hole players: First flight

1st place went to Shirley Schiamara with 88 after a scorecard playoff; 2nd went to Polly Howard with 88; 3rd went to Marcia Rector. Second Flight - 1st went to Debbie Miller; 2nd went to Helen Prejean. Third Flight - 1st place went to Ella Bishir; 2nd place went to Ginger O'Brien; and 3rd place went to Marcia Waller. Low Putts for the day went to Marcia Rector with 28 putts. Chipins - Shirley Schiamara on #5; Marcia Rector on #18; Nancy Murphy on #17; and Helen Prejean on #13. Birdies - Shirley Schiamara on #5 and Marcia Rector on #18. . Closest to the Pin winners: Polly Howard on #10, Shirley Schiamara on #3, and Debbie Miller on #7 and #15.

Results for the 9-hole players - game of the day "Silent Partner": Paula Chicken and Garlyn Person took 1st place and Anna Rigsby took 2nd place. Low Putts - 1st place goes to Garlyn Person with 15 putts and Paula Chicken took second with 18 putts. Paula Chicken had a chip-in on #12

On the next playday (September 2) the Game of the Day for the 9-hole ladies will be "Low Gross" and for the 18-hole players and "ON E-S"
