Vera T. Harris

Vera T. Harris, 91, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Wortham. Graveside services were at 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at Fairfield Cemetery with Rev. Terry Skinner officiating. There was no visitation.

Mrs. Harris was born October 26, 1918 in Leon County to parents Benjamin Luther and Willa Lee Evans. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; two brothers; her husband, Charles R. Harris, Jr. in 1990 and a daughter, Martha Ann Smith in 2002.

Left to cherish her memory are three grandchildren, Michele McCrary; Sherri Welch and Michael Spivey all of Conroe; two great-grandchildren, Shanna Stewart and Christopher Stewart; four great-great-grandchildren, Riley, Kamber, Brianna and Kennison Stewart.
